A: Simply put our tours are open to your vehicle. This includes sport cars, classics, exotics and super cars. Cars accepted must be road ready and able to tackle 8,000+ ft. elevation. We want our events to be about inclusion and fun, and do not discriminate due to age or manufacturer. Really what would be more fun than a DeLorean taking a corner with a Bentley 4 1/2-Liter Blower?
The Gold Country Grand Tour covers nearly 1,000 miles and typically travels over several mountain passes at elevations over 8,000 feet. Make sure that all aspects of your car are up for the task, but especially the cooling systems, brakes and tires. It is always a good idea to carry spare belts, hoses and any other common items that may fail and fluids that are special to your car.
A: Yes! We will have a professional photographer on the tour. He will curate their pictures into a beautiful hard-bound commemorative book. Each entry will receive a copy of the book.
A: Every car must be road legal, registered and covered by current liability insurance, proof of which must be carried in the car at all times during the event. All entrants and crew need to provide a copy of their driver’s license.
A: Every car is required to be properly insured according to the state and/or country of the car’s registration. Please note that some insurance policies may have limitations on mileage or restrict coverage when the car is not parked in a secured garage overnight, driven in road rallies or while in transit. We recommend verifying that your car will be covered for a 1,000-mile organized multi-day rally that involves hotel parking lots.
