FAQs

Q. How do I register?

A. All inclusive; We'll keep it simple: you do the driving and let us take care of the rest, 3 meals a day, 4 nights lodging, entertainment, and good times. $6,500 per car, two people, hotel double occupancy.  We are accepting 20 cars with their drivers and co-pilots. $2,000 deposit at registration

Q: What is included with my entry fee?

A:  Your hotel stays, based on double occupancy Tuesday through Friday nights, all meals; breakfast, lunch and dinner including wine at dinner. Very nice participant's gifts.

Q:  Will there be a commemorative photo book?

A:  Yes! We will have the brilliant, talented and professional photographer Neil Boyle on the tour.

Q: What cars are eligible?

A: Simply put our tours are open to vehicles of importance, significance, and interest. This encompasses all types of sport cars, classics, exotics, hot rods, muscle cars, super cars, and rad era cars.  We want our events to be about inclusion and fun, and do not discriminate due to age or manufacturer. Really what would be more fun than a DeLorean taking a corner with a Bentley 4 1/2-Liter Blower?

A:  The field for the Gold Country Grand Tour is limited to 20 cars. .

Q: Where does the event start/finish?

A:  The Gold Country Grand Tour 2023 begins at The Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite and finishes at the The Edgewood Resort in So. Lake Tahoe.

A: Yes. Our rally mechanic, Grayson Wolf from Workshop 337, will be coming along to assist with mechanical needs during the rally.

Q: What documents do we need to provide at check-in?

A: Every car must be road legal, registered and covered by current liability insurance, proof of which must be carried in the car at all times during the event. All entrants and crew need to provide a copy of their driver’s license.

Q: Insurance requirements

A:  Every car is required to be properly insured according to the state and/or country of the car’s registration. Please note that some insurance policies may have limitations on mileage or restrict coverage when the car is not parked in a secured garage overnight, driven in road rallies or while in transit. We recommend verifying that your car will be covered for a 1,000-mile organized multi-day rally that involves hotel parking lots.
